Cardiac Ablation: My Experience

On June 12, 2024, I had an operation called 'cardiac ablation'. Here I explain the reasons leading to my decision to have this operation. I forgot to mention in the video that I had cryoablation, which entails creating scar tissue via extreme cold.

I wanted to do this video earlier, but it was better to give you an update only after my three-month checkup. The procedure was straightforward and successful. I'm thankful for the care and expertise of the team at Fribourg Hospital (Fribourg, Switzerland).

This is a follow-up video on video on my experience with a procedure called 'cardioversion', which I had on April 3, 2024.

You can see the video here: https://youtu.be/NcDwmRWPAFM This is not an instructional video but a testimony about my condition and experience.

You can find many videos on the underlying condition called 'atrial fibrillation', which manifests itself in different ways. See this site for more information: https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/atrial-fibrillation/symptoms-causes/syc-20350624
